The KMFR package includes models for description of the photoabsorption process: a microscopic model of vibrational excitations describing the giant dipole resonance (GDR) and giant quadrupole resonance (GQR) and phenomenological description of the GDR overtone and the qausideuteron mechanism of photoabsorption. This description takes into account the effects of nuclear deformation and isospin conservation which play an important role in formation of the observed photonuclear cross sections. A decay model based on the Weisskopf-Ewing description of evaportion and a two-component exciton model is used to describe nucleon emission from the excited system. The dipole structure of the doorway state is properly taken into account.
Presently, the most detailed information on KMFR is available in the form of its original journal papers [1--5]. A detailed manual will be published later.
The author of KMFR is Vadim Orlin. However, please, direct questions regarding installation and usage of the model to Konstantin Stopani.
